Learning Systems International, as a subcontractor to Abacus Technology Corporation, provides training and support services for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration at Kennedy Space CenterLSI, as a subcontractor to Abacus Technology Corporation, is responsible for the creation of an Information Management and Communications Support (IMCS) Digital Systems Technologist (DST) Training Program for the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) technicians. The purpose of the Training Program is to educate technicians on emerging technologies, industry-best practices and KSC specific policies and procedures. LSI performed an extensive analysis to determine the target audience skill sets, and also performed an onsite visit to gather data about existing technologies. We delivered a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis Report with our findings, and wrote a Detailed Training Plan to serve as the basis for developing, implementing, and evaluating training to satisfy the requirements of the Video Technologies training course. LSI is also creating a one week course for video technologies which will be a combination of lecture and hands-on laboratory exercises. LSI will also help to set up and stage the training 'lab' for the hands on exercises.
