Learning Systems International (LSI), as a subcontractor to Nortel Government Solutions, provides training analysis, design and development services to the Administrative Office of US Courts’ (AO’s) Office of Defender Services (ODS)

As a subcontractor to Nortel Government Solutions, LSI has been tasked to support the AO’s ODS division by providing training analysis and design services for the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) voucher process. The ODS is responsible for the administration of the Defender Services Program including providing panel attorneys and expert service providers with a capability to collect and record time associated with their work on CJA representations and allowing them to electronically submit compensatory claims and supporting documentation to the federal courts. The processes of ensuring proper payment for these services involves a host of personnel who review and process vouchers and judges who ultimately authorize payments. LSI will conduct a training needs analysis and develop training for various CJA voucher process users and stakeholders.
