Learning Systems International (LSI), as a subcontractor to Unisys, wins the Composite HealthCare Services (CHCS) II contract.Unisys is awarded the Department of Defense (DoD) CHCS II contract. The performance-based contract was awarded under D/SIDDOMS III, an $8 billion, 10-year, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery multiple-award contract. Under CHCS II, Unisys will provide implementation and training, with a base contract term of one year valued at an estimated $31 million with potential for performance bonuses. If the DoD exercises all option years and the additional bonuses are earned in each option year, the total value of the contract could reach more than $130 million. Under the contract, Unisys will provide training for approximately 60,000 DoD healthcare personnel (providers, nurses, support staff and clerks) at 75 military hospitals and 600 clinics worldwide. Learning Systems International (LSI), as a subcontractor, is responsible for the development of a Train-the-Trainer program, design and development of end-user curricula and will help provide end-user training to all of the Military Health Professionals in Medial Treatment Facilities worldwide.
