Learning Systems International (LSI) is awarded a subcontract on the Postal Automation Redirection Systems (PARS), Change of Address Forms Processing System (CFPS) program.LSI, as a subcontractor to Siemens Logistics and Assembly Systems Inc., is awarded a 2-year contract by the United States Postal System to develop and deliver training in support of the CFPS/PARS Program. LSI will assist in the evaluation, integration and testing of COTS software and hardware to be used in a pilot program for the United States Postal Service (USPS) for the processing of change of address (COA) forms. CFPS incorporates several COTS software programs with a proprietary address lookup database to scan COA forms and key data from the forms using scanned images. LSI is responsible for ensuring that the data rules of the current system as well as policies and procedures for the data entry of COA forms are accurately applied to the pilot system. Additionally, LSI will design the user interface including workflow, data input from the scanning interface, data output to a customized database, and ergonomic prompts and image highlighting for ease in data entry. LSI will be responsible for identifying key statistical data to be gathered from the system used in daily system performance reports.
